VentureBlick, a global partner specialising in healthcare innovation expansion, successfully showcased the nine promising healthcare and sports startups at the VentureBlick Pavilion at SWITCH 2024 (Singapore Week of Innovation & Technology), held in Singapore from October 28 to 30.

Now in its ninth year, SWITCH is Asia’s largest global startup exhibition, fostering dynamic networking among global innovators, investors, and partners. Hosted by Enterprise Singapore, a public agency under Singapore's Ministry of Trade and Industry, this year’s event welcomed 300 startups from 100 countries and attracted 20,000 visitors. The exhibition featured conferences, startup showcases, pitching competitions (SLINGSHOT), and networking events.

At the VentureBlick Pavilion, companies from the '2024 Global Market Expansion Program' in the healthcare and sports sectors—including DF World, REMO, MediAIPlus, OnJourney, Oldam, Woodang Network, and Initcare—joined sports industry startups Dr. B Lab and TrueGolf to demonstrate their products and solutions. They aimed to explore collaboration opportunities with global partners, investors, institutions, and buyers.

VentureBlick CEO Chris Lee, who also participated as a conference speaker and judge in the Health & Biomedical category of the SLINGSHOT pitching competition on the first day, stated, “Through the VentureBlick Pavilion, we successfully showcased the innovation and global competitiveness of promising domestic startups.” He added, “We will continue to support these companies in accelerating their entry into the Asian market through the global network and partnerships developed during this event.”

The ‘2024 Global Market Expansion Program’ is a cross-ministerial initiative led by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and organised by the Korea Institute for Startup & Entrepreneurship Development. VentureBlick is partnering with the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation (KSPO), the primary organisation in healthcare and sports convergence, to run a support program helping 15 companies expand into Singapore and the broader Southeast Asian market.

Headquartered in Singapore with branches in Germany, China, India, and Korea, VentureBlick drives the global expansion and scaling of healthcare innovation companies worldwide through its extensive Global VB Advisory Network, which includes over 3,400 current medical and industry professionals across 60 countries and strong global partnerships.
