Eight promising South Korean healthtech startups took their next-gen innovations to key players in Singapore's healthcare ecosystem, under the '2025 Go Global with VentureBlick' program. Over 4 jam-packed days, in conjunction with International HealthTEC Summit (IHS), the Korean startups gathered real-world perspectives from healthcare leaders in the APAC and formed long-term connections with potential collaborators — bringing them one step closer to global market access and commercialisation.
This accelerator program was led by VentureBlick and supported by the Singapore Health Technologies Consortium (HealthTEC.SG) — a technology consortium that seeks to develop the health technology sector, including software- and hardware-based solutions that aim to transform health and wellness.
Meet the Startups
This time round, the Korean startups from SYP (Special Your Partner) and Hongneung Innopolis Cluster raised the bar with their innovative healthcare solutions. Here's what each startup brought to the table:
AttisLab: 3D organoid culture system as cell therapies for hair growth, anti-aging, and tissue repair
Ezdiatech: VEUS is a magnetic particle-based imaging system, acting as ultra-sensitive diagnostics for sepsis and neurological disorders
IMBdx: Liquid biopsy technology for early cancer detection and precision therapy
Medicos Biotech: Spider silk protein for wound care, cosmetics, hair loss treatments, and skin scaffolding
MEDIIMG: VINT generates 3D neurovascular models that function as biomarkers for stroke and brain diagnostics
NetTargets: AI-driven systems biology for faster, smarter drug discovery
Onesoftdigm: Fitrus is a line of smart health devices predicting diabetes and providing tailored health recommendations
Twinpig Biolab: TAMpep is an antibody drug conjugate (ADC) immunotherapy, targeting tumour environments
From South Korea to Singapore: Overcoming the Language Barrier
The Korean innovators started off the week by spending a full day with the VentureBlick team. We broke the ice with a Kick Off Meeting, where both parties were formally introduced and briefed on the program itinerary.

Following this, Anita Cai, Chief Marketing & Communications Officer at VentureBlick, ran a Brand & Marketing Workshop and 1:1 Pitch Rehearsal sessions with the startups. She offered eye-opening advice and tailored guidance on pitching complex innovations through storytelling — equipping the Korean startups for global client meetings in the near future and beyond.
Concurrently, individual consultation sessions with Founder & CEO, Chris Lee, were held to advise the startups on their go-to-market strategies and investor readiness.
Technology, Transformation, and FemTech: Reimagining the Future of Healthcare
Over three days, the Korean startups embarked on a dynamic series of plenary lectures, panel discussions, and live pitching sessions at One Farrer Hotel and the National University of Singapore's (NUS) Clinical Research Centre. They heard from leading digital health voices across the region — from aging management, to FemTech and precision health technology.
Amongst the speakers were: Dr Gordon Xiong, Dr Cheong Wei Yang, Prof Johan Gunmar Eriksson, Ms Chee Hew, A/Prof Ali Asgar Saleem Bhagat, Ms Ai Li Siow, Mr Ambuj Mudgal, Ms Eunice Soh, Dr Ella Fung, Mr Amrish Nair, Ms Mairin Reid, A/Prof Danny Soon, Prof Ning Xi, Prof Andrea B. Maier, Dr Wu Xi Vivien, Prof Alejandro F Frangi, Ms Agathe Foussat, Dr James Chan, Mr Justin Phoon, Mr Lijoy George, and Mr Edwyn Tan.
These experts shared key insights, actionable strategies, and tips on navigating the evolving healthcare landscape. This enabled the startups to fully immerse themselves in the diverse Asia Pacific healthcare market and finetune their innovations.

Korean Innovators Take To The Stage
The highlight of the program was the Unboxing Day & Investor Meetup jointly presented by VentureBlick and HealthTEC.SG. This exclusive event was hosted at Catapult by CapitaLand, where all eight Korean startups pitched live to a room full of investors, corporates, healthcare leaders, and major digital health stakeholders across APAC.
Through the event, the startups were able to receive practical feedback from a panel of esteemed judges — representing Dexcom APAC, IHH Healthcare, and KOSME — major healthcare giants in the sector.

Ultimately, Andy Lee from Onesoftdigm won the Best Pitch — Judges' Choice award, while Daniel Ohn from MediIMG garnered the most votes as the Best Pitch — People's Choice. This was a crucial platform for the startups to showcase their innovations for the first time in Singapore — a thriving hub for digital healthcare R&D, global scaling and collaboration.
The event came to a close in a networking session, where the Korean startups had the opportunity to network with key healthcare professionals and strategic partners. This was pivotal in laying the foundation for the startups' market entry into ASEAN and other key markets around the world.

What Participants Had to Say
This cohort shared their expectations and key takeaways from the program:
Beamy Shin (SYP, Managing Director): "I believe that going global is very tough. We hope that our startups gain real feedback, new connections, and potentially find new suitable partners and investors. Achieving tangible results take time. So I hope that they make great connections in Singapore, and I hope that once they get back to Korea, they keep following up and then eventually things will lead to greater results."

Daeho Lee (CEO, Onesoftdigm): "South Korea is known worldwide as the best market for testing new technologies. Similarly, Singapore plays the role of an anchor city for entering the Southeast Asian market, and once real business happens through Singapore, it will be much easier to expand to Europe, the US, and Japan. That’s our expectation."

Yonghee Kim (Director, AttisLab): "Through this Singapore program, we hope to upgrade our presentations and establish collaborations with good investors and hospitals that can be connected."

The Road Ahead
This year's 'Go Global with VentureBlick' program saw many new faces, introduced unparalleled innovations from Korea — the tech capital of Asia — to Singapore's healthcare ecosystem. From AI-driven drug discovery to novel spider-silk regenerative solutions, we're thrilled to witness every accelerator program bringing in new innovations that the Singapore market has yet to see.
VentureBlick is proud to work with SYP and Hongneung Innopolis in supporting cross-border healthcare solutions. With our shared commitment to nurturing global startups and networks, we aim to bridge opportunities between Korea and Singapore, creating a space for next-gen medical breakthroughs to blossom. Together, we're envisioning a future where innovation knows no borders — and continues to change lives across Asia and beyond.
