The Korea-Singapore Healthcare Innovation Exchange is a three-day program held in Seoul from July 8 to 10 — organised by VentureBlick and hosted by its Founder & CEO, Chris Lee. The program was aimed at facilitating strategic introductions between key opinion leaders (KOLs) and organisations from Korea and Singapore's healthcare ecosystems, establishing a sustainable platform for inbound and outbound collaboration.
Meet the Participants
We flew four major Singaporean healthcare innovation institutions down to Korea, namely:
co11ab Novena, HealthTEC.SG, National Health Innovation Centre Singapore (NHIC) and SingHealth Polyclinics. Their representatives met with key Korean healthcare groups and hospitals throughout the week, where discussions were initiated for potential strategic partnerships in the healthcare sector.

On Korea's side, we engaged in meaningful conversations with these organisations:
K-MEDI Hub (Daegu-Gyeongbuk Medical Innovation Foundation)
K-BIO Health (Osong Medical Innovation Foundation)
Seoul Hongneung INNOPOLIS

Strengthening Ties & Building Networks in Korea
The Singaporean delegation sat through tailored meetings scheduled by the VentureBlick team and exchanged valuable insights with leading healthcare innovation hubs, startup clusters, and hospitals supporting innovation in Korea's healthcare sector.

These organisations shared their capabilities and support frameworks, while also exploring joint project opportunities and cooperative models for test-bedding, joint R&D, funding, and market entry into Korea.
Healthcare Connect – Korea x Singapore
On the last day of the program, the participants attended 'Healthcare Connect – Korea x Singapore, an exclusive on-site event co-hosted by VentureBlick and Seoul Hongneung INNOPOLIS at Seoul Bio Hub. The event brought together key innovation players from both countries — offering fresh perspectives from key stakeholders and opening doors to new pathways in the Korea-Singapore healthcare innovation space.
To kick off the event, opening remarks were given by Hwan Lim, Director of Seoul Hongneung Innopolis, followed by keynote speeches from Hongtaek Yong, Chair of MediTech Korea, and Chris Lee, Founder & CEO of VentureBlick. The Singaporean organisations also shared on their missions, objectives and potential areas for collaboration under Korea-Singapore initiatives.

The highlight of this event was a live English pitching session by three healthtec startups (Seven Point One, GHPharm, Spass) from the Hongneung Innovation Cluster. Each company presented their promising healthcare solutions and global market expansion strategies, paving the way for better patient-centric care.

Finally, the event came to close with networking among attendees, laying the foundation for real bilateral collaboration.
