SOFNT (CEO Han Seol-ah) recently signed a global expansion strategy consulting agreement with VentureBlick, the largest APAC-based partner specialising in global expansion for healthcare, and announced that it will begin full-scale technology dissemination and promotion activities targeting the Singapore and Southeast Asian markets.
This agreement marks an important first step for SOFNT in strengthening its competitiveness in the local market and expanding its global partnerships, based on its proprietary PFAS-Free nanomembrane technology.
SOFNT has been developing nanomaterial-based high-performance materials in the healthcare, bio, and industrial sectors, collaborating with numerous domestic and international companies. Through this agreement with VentureBlick, the company plans to focus on entering the Southeast Asian market and aims to provide PFAS-Free solutions in response to the strengthening PFAS regulations from 2026.
In December 2024, SOFNT was selected for the 'Global Bio Scale-up Project' organised by Seoul National University Hospital. Accordingly, it plans to actively utilise the technology development support and customised infrastructure for global expansion provided by the project. This project is a support program aimed at helping promising domestic bio-companies enter the global market, and SOFNT expects to achieve faster and more efficient global expansion through it.
Furthermore, in January 2025, SOFNT was selected for Samsung C-Lab's 7th cohort. In February, it was also chosen for the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy's Material, Components, and Equipment Mass Production Performance Evaluation Support Project, receiving support for technology related to the mass production of sterile purified water pack filters. In April, it was selected for the 2025 Eco-Startup Support Project hosted by the Ministry of Environment and the Korean Intellectual Property Office, and will further develop its eco-friendly technologies and sustainable business model.
Han Seol-ah, CEO of SOFNT, stated, 'The signing of the global consulting agreement with VentureBlick is not simply about entering a new market, but an important strategic decision to strengthen SOFNT's global partnerships and solidify its position in the Asian market. Moreover, being selected for Seoul National University Hospital's 'Global Bio Scale-up Project' is a result of recognising the international competitiveness of our technology and will serve as a foundation for sustainable growth in the global market. .

VentureBlick, the largest global expansion partner in APAC that is headquartered in Singapore, strategically supports the overseas market entry of domestic companies.
Southeast Asia is a region boasting high economic growth and rapidly developing industrial and bio markets, with a surge in demand for eco-friendly and high-performance materials.
In particular, Singapore is establishing itself as a key hub in Southeast Asia and offers significant opportunities for SOFNT as a market with active technological innovation and a startup culture. SOFNT's 'VIBLOTEC' nanomembrane technology is recognized for its significant technological value in various industrial fields. Starting with this agreement with VentureBlick, the company plans to accelerate technology dissemination and corporate growth in Southeast Asia and the global market.
SOFNT's position is expected to be further strengthened in the global bio and industrial sectors, where demand for eco-friendly technology and high-performance materials is increasing.
