The Challenge

Chronic diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular conditions, respiratory illnesses, cancer, and neurological disorders often go undetected during a patient’s initial doctor visit. Early screening, triage, and risk prediction at this critical stage could significantly improve patient outcomes. 

 

Primary care clinics and health checkup centres face pressure to identify health risksearly. However, many still lack validated technologies that provide doctors with meaningful clinical insights in real-world, everyday settings. 

 

VentureBlick, in collaboration with a global diagnostics leader, is actively scouting for innovative AI and algorithm-based solutions across the Asia Pacific region to address this challenge.

We’re seeking solutions that: 

​

• Enable early screening, triage, and risk prediction in primary care and health checkup centres 

• Are clinically validated (e.g. CE/FDA/HSA approved or backed by peer-reviewed studies) 

• Deliver actionable clinical insights — not just data collection or retrospective analysis 

• Can be used without requiring specialist interpretation or complex hardware (e.g. MRI, PET scans) 

• Are frontline deployable — easy to implement (e.g. cloud-based solutions) with minimal and commonly available inputs (e.g. clinical chemistry, age, gender) and equipment (e.g. ECG, chest X-ray, wearables)

Solutions focused solely on wellness, non-clinical data reporting, or requiring specialist-level equipment or interpretation are not suitable. This opportunity prioritises clinician-facing solutions that support real-time clinical decision-making at the first point of care.
